On March 19, 2007 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the dkVOGUE showroom at 1549 State Street in downtown Sarasota, FL., the largest collection of Designer Series 7 pieces in the world will be on display. The event marks the first time these chairs, designed by Bisazza, Camper, Hummel, Georg Jensen, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Royal Copenhagen, have been available for public viewing since their international tour and auction to raise funds for the Danish AIDS Foundation last spring. The only Egg Sofa in the United States, a commemorative piece honoring its creator Arne Jacobsen, will also be showcased at the benefit. Topping off the festivities will be a luxurious raffle with over $32,000 of raffle prizes. Raffle tickets are $50 apiece; one ticket gains you one chance to win a prize. The more tickets purchased, the greater the chance of winning. Tickets may be purchased at the event and attendees must be present to win. There is no cover charge to attend this event. All event proceeds go directly to Sarasota Community AIDS Network patients. RSVP by phone to Christy Ryle at (941) 955-2600.
