This year, dkVOGUE was pleased to introduce the long awaited full length documentary on Danish Design entitled Life by Design. Kim Nielsen, the executive producer, and his creative team have worked tirelessly over the past two years. They filmed and interviewed designers, architects, and manufacturers to bring to life the history and passion behind the classic iconic designs as well as the "new" generation of Danish designers.
It's a must see for anyone who has an appreciation for the history, art and craftsmanship that has become synonymous with Danish Design.
dkVOGUE was also the sponsor of this years Architectural League of New York's Beau Arts Ball 2008. This is an annual party benefiting the lectures and exhibitions program of the Architectural League, New York's leading forum for contemporary architecture, urbanism and design. The Ball brings together nearly a thousand of the industry professionals and guests for an exciting evening.
