Kai completed four years of extensive furniture making training under the Danish Furniture Guild (established in the 12th century) and became a master craftsman. While working for fine Copenhagen furniture businesses, Kai perfected his craft and attended the Copenhagen Business College where he received his BA in Business Administration.
He has almost 50 years of high-level management experience, predominantly within the Danish and overseas furniture industry. For many years he served as the CEO of a woodworking factory in Penang, Malasia that produced intricate wood designs and exported them worldwide. Many of the wood products are now on display in museums around the world. Kai’s corporate management also led him into the travel industry and the Danish government sector.
Kai now resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he manages a fully-owned home furnishings business. |
