Michael has more than 16 years of experience from the furniture industry, both in Denmark and internationally. Michael is born and grew up in Denmark and after attending business school, he started his career in the furniture and design industry.
Michael has worked for some of the leading furniture manufacturers in Denmark and has been living outside Denmark for the past 9 years. In 2001 Michael moved to England to start up the market for a Danish furniture company and later moved on to become Country Manager for Flexa Furniture, where he successfully managed the company with implementation of a new retail concept. In 2006 Michael moved to New York to work at the Royal Danish Consulate General where he was the team leader for the furniture & design department and successfully helped Danish companies enter the US market.
Michael has visited the majority of our manufacturers in Denmark for training. Michael’s favorite pieces are the Grasshopper, Artichoke and Flag Halyard chair. |
