Because EJ 600 is built without an exterior shell, it appears as an independent organic body, a muscular organism which comes across as a pure example of design, but with a relaxed appearance. The sturdy dimensions of the seat, back and armrests form a harmonious whole, which gives a sense of weight in contrast to the graceful, conic legs which create a floating unity and emphasize the horizontal lines. In 1996 EJ 600 was launched again to meet the growing demand for fully upholstered sofas which had a more solid look. The element version of the sofa, named Landscape, was also shown at the launch. The fixed cushions are of cold cured polyurethane foam and can be upholstered in leather or fabric having a wide variety options of colors. The covers are fixed. The legs are of aluminum or beech.
