Characterized by a sober and yet inviting style, EJ 315 embodies Danish design and furniture craftsmanship. The distinguished-looking wood base gives support to a slim structuring of cushions, which are given additional life and depth by the effect of many fastened buttons. In the fabric versions, covered in Erik Jorgensen's classic fabrics, the precision with which the cutting has been executed can be seen in the linings on the surfaces of the cushions. EJ 315 quickly became known as the ultimate Danish fabric sofa of such high quality. Designed by Erik Ole Jorgensen (1925-2002), whose simple, functionalist furniture has placed him amongst the best Danish furniture designers. The cushions are of cold cured polyurethane foam and can be upholstered in leather or fabrics having a wide variety options of colors. The frame has fixed covers. The cushions can be removable if buttons are removed. The legs of beech or oak can be untreated or lacquered.Other options for the legs are cherry, mahogany, lacquered walnut.
