The stylish lines are the first to catch the eye. With legs and tabletop angled at 99°, Extend has a powerful yet agile presence - as well as exceptional stability. But according to Knud Erik Hansen, Managing Director of Tranekaer Furniture, what makes this table really unique is everything you do not see at first glance. "More and more customers want the convenience of an extendable dining table - without compromising on design or finish. And they want the extension leaves to be contained in the table. Strand+Hvass's solution for concealing the leaves within the table is brilliant - and I challenge you to find an extendable table that's easier to use," says Knud Erik Hansen. Simply pull out one end of the table to reveal an ingenious mechanism that unfolds into another 43.3" of table, easily seating four extra persons. Wheels hidden beneath two legs - and aluminum tracks - make it easy for one person to operate the extension. Fully extended, the table is a generous 118" x 39.3" cm, and seats 12 comfortably.

Table is made of solid oak and available in the following finishes : soap treated, oiled, white pigmented oil, black lacquer.

Black or gray extension leaves are included.
