Deck Chair - PP524

The deck chair with string back and seat is drawn by Hans J. Wegner and was presented first at Kobenhavn Snedkerlaug's Exhibition in 1958. It was then produced by Johannes Hansen under the name of JH 524. In extension of Copenhagen International furniture Fair 2006, PP Mobler resumed the production of the deck chair under the name of PP 524. Initially, the production will only count 30 chairs in ash and oak, each with a small silver plate showing its production number. Contrary to its predecessors, this deck chair has no armrests. The fittings and a stainless steel loop allows the chair four different positions. Today as well as in 1958, the chair comes with a neck cushion and sheepskin.
