The chair was drawn for PP Mobler in 1978 by Hans J. Wegner. PP 112 is almost a design hybrid, comprising features from his series of Chinese chairs and his many attempts at drawing a modern English Windsor chair. Consequently, this easy chair is light and elegant. Its design shows Wegner's traditional insistence on simplicity in construction and design.
